Shanely Marmolejos, LMSW is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed social worker. Shanely received her Master of Social (MSW) from CUNY York College in 2020. Since completing her MSW, she has worked primarily in helping youth and families with a variety of mental health issues, ranging from conducting mental health assessments, crisis management, psychotherapy, and providing culturally sensitive psychological immigration evaluations. In addition to conducting psychological immigration evaluations, Shanely has conducted research at the university level focused on mental health and immigration and has presented her findings at national peer-reviewed conferences.
Shanely is passionate about empowering underrepresented populations through self-understanding and psycho-education. She also has a special interest in working with first-generation immigrants and historically disadvantaged communities. Her clinical interests include: adjustment and transition difficulties, anxiety, depression, crisis intervention, interpersonal trauma, relationship issues, as well as overcoming grief and loss. Shanely approaches treatment non-judgmentally, focusing on clinically informed modalities and techniques that best suit her client's psychological needs.
